Drawings

Drawing is my home base and part of all my art. Graphite is a beautifully basic and amazingly complex tool. Work that is solely graphite dramatizes the directness of black, white and grey. Colored pencil is special because I can build luminous layers of color to produce strong eye-catching contrasts.  I love the challenge of creating the illusion of three-dimensional objects on paper that engages the viewer’s imagination.
